I had $400 sitting on my lap, in cash, and I needed to get it to a nice middle aged lady in rural Pennsylvania. Before you say anything, yes I TRIED to get her to take Bitcoin. I explained that before we hung up the phone, the money would be sitting in her Coinbase wallet which took a few minutes to set up. I explained with literally one push of a button, the funds (with a very very minimal fee) would be in her bank account. No. She wanted a check or a money order. This is what she knew, it’s been working for 70 years and she’s not going to change now…
